RacEvo is a record of a young athlete’s development, so protecting that data is the whole point. This summary explains, in plain language, what we collect and how we handle it.
What we collect
The information you choose to add: athlete and account details, lesson logs, monthly reports, sports-CV entries, training-habit notes, and telemetry laps from connected devices. We also keep basic technical data needed to run the app reliably and securely.
Health data and devices
If you connect a RaceBox over Bluetooth, we record the session’s laps and GPS trace. If you use the app on Apple Watch, a heart-rate strap, or turn on reading from Apple Health, we read the session’s heart rate and, only if the family turns it on, sleep, resting heart rate and heart-rate variability as daily facts. This health data stays within the family circle: a coach sees a session’s heart-rate curve only if the guardian allows it, and never sees sleep or recovery. We never write to Apple Health from the iPhone; on the watch, a workout session is saved to Health only if you choose. Health data is not used for advertising, is never sold, and does not pass through the AI providers described below.
Children’s data & guardian consent
Accounts for minors are created and managed by a parent or guardian, who provides consent. A young athlete’s data is treated as sensitive by default, and we collect only what the app needs to do its job.
Who can see it
A minor’s records stay inside their consent circle — guardians, a linked coach, and linked mentors within their role. We never make a minor’s name, location, media, or notes public. See our Privacy & Safety page for the full picture.
No ads, no data sale
We do not run advertising, and we do not sell or rent your data — ever. There is no business model here that depends on profiling your family. This is a real commitment, not fine print.
Where your data lives, and who helps us run the app
Your data is hosted with Supabase, currently in a United States region. To run the app we rely on a small set of providers, each with only what it needs: Anthropic (Claude) generates training readings and reports from a summary of the athlete’s numbers, without the name, after the account’s consent and under terms that forbid using that data to train models; OpenAI transcribes the voice notes a coach records, for that request only and with no retention for training; Resend sends account e-mails and reports; Esri and OpenStreetMap provide the track maps. Where data crosses borders, we use recognized safeguards to keep it protected.
Your rights & deleting your data
You can ask to access, export, or delete your family’s data. Email suporte@racevo.com.br and we’ll help. Deleting an account removes its data rather than hiding it.
